Created by designer Aron Mihai, the Lamborghini Alcaldes concept takes an interesting view on design and shape. The original inspiration came from paper folding technique, where one hand converts a two dimensional space into three dimensions, while the other hand ensures stiffness in the direction of the folds. Its geometric form is of course, the feature that stands out in the Alcaldes concept.
The geometric form of the concept is aerodynamic, and also gives it a futuristic look and torsion resistance for the body. The geometric shape also allows for better aerodynamics and optimal distribution of air impact pressure, thus reducing drag. Mihai sees the concept getting power from a V10 that would take the concept to a maximum speed of 313kmph. If ever produced, the designer sees the car with dimensions of length 4350 / height 1150/ 2000 width being placed between the Gallardo and the Murcielago
