I was cursing like hell when my high school decided that students have to wear their tie everyday to school when the ambient temperature hovers around 28 to 30 degrees celcius in my classroom. If you think that is ridiculous then get this.... All the students at Luolang Elementary School in Huangping China has to Salute every passing car on your way to and from school. This was reported by the New York Times. According to the press, education officials promoted the saluting edict to reduce traffic accidents and teach children courtesy.
